CTET Application Form 2013: The central Board of secondary education (CBSE) conducts the CTET (central teacher eligibility test). This examination is conducted to offer the teacher eligibility certificate. CTET is a state level exam conducted under the CBSE, Delhi. CBSE also conducts the board examination of schools affiliated with CBSE. CTET is conducted to recruit the candidates for primary teachers and upper primary teachers in private and government schools affiliated with CBSE. CTET Application Form 2013
CTET is a central level examination conducted by CBSE, Delhi. A number of students appear in this exam. This exam is organized to test the teaching ability and teaching aptitude and knowledge of Candidates.
Eligibility Criteria : Candidates who want to apply for the primary teacher eligibility test should have passed higher secondary education from a recognized board. The minimum required percentage for this exam is 50% in the diploma of elementary education. Candidates who are going to apply for upper primary CTET exams must have passed Bachelor degree in elementary education or diploma in elementary education from the recognized university/college/institutes.
Application Process: The eligible candidates can apply for this exam on the official website. To apply online you can follow the given steps:-
- Candidates are required to go to the official website www.ctet.nic.in.
- Then click on the option of applying online and download the application form.
- Read the instruction carefully and fill up the application form with required details.
- Upload the required documents by following the instruction for document size.
- After whole process you are required to click on the submit button.
- Kindly take the print out of the submitted application form for further use.
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay the application fee through demand draft (DD) at any nationalized bank. The unreserved category candidates have to pay the application fee R.s 500 (single paper) and for both paper application fee is 800/-. Candidates who belong to reserved category have to pay 250/- as application fee for single paper and for both paper application fee is 400. Send the DD of application fee to the following Address:-

Important Dates: candidates have to submit the application form before 16th April 2013. The CTET examination is going to held on 28th July 2013. The exam timing for primary teacher is 10.30 AM to 12.00 PM and timing of the upper primary teacher exam is 2.00 PM to 3.30 PM. All the Dates are given here.

Application Status : candidates will be able to check the application status on the official website by entering the login Id (registration ID) and password. Candidates will be able to take the print out of online application form till 22nd April 2013.
Admit card : CBSE will provide the admit card on the official website on 3rd July 2013 and onwards till the exam date.
Exam pattern: there would be two papers separately conducted for primary teacher and upper primary teachers. Exam paper consists objective type questions related to child development and pedagogy, language-1 and language-2, environmental studies and mathematics. There are approximate 150 questions and total marks are 150. There is no negative marking.
Selection process : Selection is based on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the written exam and academic qualification. The candidates who clear the exam is eligible for a teaching job at school level and get the teacher eligibility certificate.
